2024 Click'n Keiki Camp for Kids

We will be learning all about what makes a photograph a GREAT photograph. You will learn some BASIC traits of Photographic Composition which helps YOU take great photos. This is one of the most exciting aspects of learning photography and kids are great at seeing with fresh eyes!

We start each new day by reviewing the previous day’s BEST images. Each day is a learning experience as kids are encouraged to use what they learned from the previous day while applying those techniques to the new topics.
Our topics will include history of photography, gear, exposure (ISO, shutter speed, apeture), white balance, camera presets, crearive compostion and types of photographers.

Each day after introducing a new topic or technique, we head out on a photo walk exploring beautiful downtown Hilo.

The last day we will showcase your child's most loved
image captured during camp! Be sure to stop in and
check them out before last pick up on Friday!

When:
July 15th -19th
9:30am - 12 noon

Ages: 8-12 (Note: Some level of maturity is required as we will be walking to various locations close to studio.)

Cost: $189 per child

What to bring:
Digital Camera (any kind will work, even smart phone but prefer one that uses a camera card)
• Water Bottle
• Walking Shoes
